TAG!

Right now I am between classes and was looking through everyone's older posts to keep myself from eating the entire nearest McDonald's and saw something neat. A while ago Laresa tagged me to tell 7 random things about myself. I never saw this, so I decided to do it today! Here goes:

1. I still get really excited when people compliment my wedding ring. (Not in a conceited way, but more of a little girl with new shoes way.) I rarely go a whole day without someone saying how unique or pretty it is, but I still get the butterflies. I think every girl should because there's one person who put a lot of energy into picking out a symbol of their affection to match you. And I happen to think it matches me perfect :]

2. I hate cardboard. This is by far the weirdest phenomenon about myself, but I can't stand cardboard. When I have to open a box I cringe, and the sound of it rubbing another piece of cardboard sends shivers up my spine. My sister is the only other person I know on planet Earth who feels even a fraction of my strange loathing.

3. It doesn't matter how many times I watch P.S. I Love You, I will still bawl like a baby. And it doesn't matter how many times I've seen Hairspray, I will still laugh hysterically when I see John Travolta in a fat suit. I love good laughs and good cries.

4. I want to have 5 kids. Yes, when Ginger used to say this I thought she was crazy. But I figured if I'm going to wait until I finish school, I should get to choose how many. And I want 5. Don't try to change my mind, it's a wasted effort. Haha!

5. I had a cast on some part of my body for half of my senior year of high school. I know it's weird, but the more I study, the more I love bones. I'm fascinated with how they fit together and move. It doesn't even gross me out to see the broken ones. The human body is incredible and I want so badly to work in ortho. (I'm a dork, I know.)

6. I am obsessed with the Twilight series. I never thought I'd be interested in anything like them, but Stephenie Meyer is a genius and the bookworm in me is counting down the day until the next one comes out.

7. Lastly, I never loved anyone before Jack. I know it's cliche, but I honestly went from boy to boy and it would make me sick to hold hands with them. I liked having guy friends, but I could date someone for really long periods of time and still wonder why I didn't think about them unless they were around. Jack was the first guy I couldn't get off my mind. And I don't get nauseous when he says really lovey-dovey things to me. I can't imagine what he sees in me, but I'm thankful for every day!

Well, I guess it's my turn to tag someone else! Sorry I was a little late on this one Laresa! I tag: Connie, Christy, and Michelle!

Wow, I learned new things about you and it's really neat! I like the five kids - it'll be hard for us to live far away, though, cause you know how I love babies! About the ortho career, Major Williams at Moncrief would be so proud to have you tell her that. (Which by the way we saw her not too long ago and she asked about you - you were her favorite patient and got to see you way too frequently your senior year! I'll never forget the "ok, Erika, what color this time and I don't know what hurt more-my heart or your arm!) I love you, Erika, and I'm so proud of you. You'll be great whatever you do. Have a great evening and I'll talk to you tomorrow. Can't wait to see Jack in a month and you shortly thereafter!!!! Wilmington - it's going to be a fantastic summer!!!

Now how am I supposed to top that?
Isn't it funny how we all have something we can't stand the sound of or can't stand touching it.
The human body is indeed remarkable! With your sweet spirit,
people will be lucky to work with you or have you work on them.

I posted my somewhat lame seven. Thanks for the tag though - you made me think!
