Last week, Jack and I were fortunate enough to go on a cruise with the Vision Carolina's office because he worked so hard this summer. It was really fun (minus the motion sickness) and we were able to visit San Juan, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas, and St. Maarten. It was such a fun experience, we saw some beautiful places and ate a ton of good food. We were both a little sick, but it was worth it! It was fun to hang out with all our friends from the summer again. We feel we've been so blessed to have so many fun adventures in our first year(and a few months) of marriage. It's such an awesome opportunity to be able to do all of the traveling we've done!
And now we're ready to settle down a bit and get ready for Baby Maxfield! For our first day back today, I had my 14-week appointment and we heard Baby's heartbeat! I was a lot more emotional than I thought I'd be, it's crazy to already love someone so much that we've never met. We can't wait for December 29th, to find out the sex!

What a fun trip! I was 4 months pregnant with McKinley when we went to Puerto Rico, luckily I was getting over the 24/7 nausea at that point. I'm glad that you had a fun trip and that you were safe. We worried about you guys being on cruise during all the hurricanes/storms that were going on. We can't wait to find out what you are having. It will be so much fun having 3 grandkids within 1yr of each other. They'll be great friends.
What a great trip!!! Hey, I was able to go to Italy in my embryo state :)
This is me not being ridiculously jealous of you guys...ok it didnt work very well. Daniel and I were talking about how funny it is that all of the Maxfield's were pregnant when we went on big trips. Brett and Melissa went to Puerto Rico, Daniel and I went to Spain, and you guys to the Carribean. Coincidence...I think not!
How exciting! Can't wait to find out if its a boy or girl!! Hope your doing well.
